Louvers
Gable end
louvers are used as decorative vents for attics and garages.
In 1989 Donald C. Wickens came up with this idea to improve
the lifespan and look of the already existing wooden vents.
Moving into the 90's and a plastic era this product boomed.
Making homes and other buildings have less maintenance and
look better with the up and coming vinyl siding.
There is a
groove in the side of
some of our louvers called the 'J-Track'. This allows for
vinyl siding to butt right up close to the product to
prevent leaks and damage.
There
are many shapes and sizes available in the louver product
line. Seen here (top to bottom) are octagon (27" ,22",
16") round (36", 22", 18", 16"), and
half-round (36", 32", 18"). There are also
rectangle, quarter-round, round top, and Octagon windows.
Our octagon window is a 9 light
window made of lexan with our octagon background. This and
all other louvers come in a variety of colors also. Unlike
wooden models they do not have to be repainted every year to
be kept up. Once you put one of our products on your house
you'll virtually never have to take it down or maintain it.
